Those that fronted up were BKG, CMV, SIA, DPE,
BJY, KRM, BXV, ROL, BMW, CGC, JHS, CAK,
TUA, BDD, CBH, DMX, SME, BSP, DYH, BDB,
BUJ, CES, DLY, PKD, BJU, DPE (26 visitors) and
then we had the Mt Cook resident aircraft of BJY, MCV, MCR, CBS, MCT, MCN,
MCK and IHW. This gave a total of 34 aircraft at Mt Cook which by my reckoning
must be a record, at least in the last few years. We had 89 people booked for dinner on
Saturday night and that is certainly a lot for our group. What I noticed was the amount
women and children this time. Planes were full, it was just fantastic to see and I know
Richard and the Hermitage were absolutely delighted.
There was hardly a spare seat in the restaurant!!!!
Well its been 3 years since Richard Royds last Mt Cook weekend, and once again,
another great time had by all. As I have indicated by the amount of people and aircraft
present, it is no doubt a venue that all like to visit and surely one to be repeated again.
